TechnikonTechnikon Forschungs- und Planungsgesellschaft mbH is an Austrian SME with a highly specialized multinational team of scientists and engineers. The main activities focus on security assessment of HW/SW solutions and the development of platforms used for concurrent engineering and secure information sharing. The company has been involved in several European projects dealing with cryptography, secure computing, secure data exchange and Digital Rights Management in FP7, FP6 and FP5 (e.g. biometric authentication, secure Smartcards, mobile working environment). Currently Technikon is acting as Project Coordinator of CACE, MULTIBASE, COPPER (FP7 STREPs), TECOM (FP7 IP) and OpenTC (FP6 IP) – most of the project are in the EC Trust and Security regime. Technikon is partner in the OMEGA (FP7 IP) and TSC Medea+ project 2A502 on Trusted Secure Computing.
